Rock Your Jeans!

There’s this event and programme, run by the Columbia Association, called Rock Your Jeans. It’s about getting down a couple of jean sizes by taking up a dedicated exercise programme and following a food plan.

It’s a great way to motivate people and get them feeling fit and full of life again. I know, because that’s exactly what I did nearly two years ago, and I haven’t looked back since. Fitter, leaner, more energy. Ah, the joys of a life of fitness!

Doing my demo!

Doing my demo!

It’s true when they say it has to be part of your lifestyle – it does, and whilst sometimes you do just want to chow down on a burger, or slump in front of the TV, mind over matter sets in and I know that I don’t want to go back to the shape I was before.

I did a Piloxing demo at the Rock Your Jeans launch event and people got involved and moved and grooved and signed up to get fit. You see, this fitness thing does work!

What is this monstrosity!?

I heard that Pizza Hut had brought out a cholesterol-raising, fat-laden pizza, but I had no idea how devastatingly atrocious it was until I saw it. This is it. The Cheeseburger Pizza Crust.

Pizza Hut seem very pleased with themselves that they have produced something so hideous. Seriously, should they not be banned from creating such things when many other people are just trying to get healthy and avoid temptation? (Tho what is tempting about this? BARF!) Cheeseburgers and pizza together?! Noooooooo!

Sigh, sometimes, there seems for those who are trying to get a healthy lifestyle there are always going to be things that get in the way. Personally, I think stuff like this should be made illegal.
